Journey from Sudbury to Sault Ste Marie
Last night we had the best nights sleep we have had in ages. As you will know the last two weeks we have been sleeping on an air bed that is hard and uncomfortable, so last nights hotel bed was like a dream.
After getting ready, we had a good breakfast at the hotel and then set off towards Sault Ste Marie, about 3.5 hours away. On the way, we stopped off at Tim Horton's for a coffee and a muffin, well it has to be done, doesn't it!
The drive was lovely and very scenic, following along the edge of Lake Huron. When we got to Sault Ste Marie, we found our way to a local mall in the city where we parked. This was right next to the boardwalk which runs along the waterfront, so we took a couple of hours to wander around and enjoy the scenery.
There was a fun sculpture/statue of some bears catching a fish.
We grabbed a bit to eat in the food court of the mall and then set off again, heading towards Thunder Bay.
